"Future Technologies: Blockchain, Digital Supply Chains, Validation of Cloud Systems and Serialization" Forum within the GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practices) Committee of ISPE Turkey Affiliate was held on October 18, 2019 at Point Hotel Barbaros, Istanbul.



Following the opening remarks of ISPE Turkey Affiliate Chair Buket Hekiman Bayraktar and ISPE Turkey GAMP Committee Chair Banu Refik, Life Sciences Director of Convalgroup Arjun Guha Thakurta, completed the first session with his presentation on blockchain technology and its applications in the industry. Afterwards, Julien Porquet, Digital Strategy Manager at Tracelink for EMEA Region, elaborated on patient centric orchestration across the digital supply network.



Following the lunch break, Abdi İbrahim İlaç emphasized the importance of data integrity and GMP rules with a pleasant theater play. As part of the forum, while Timur Kabadayı, General Manager of Convalgroup, provided information about the validation of cloud systems with a comprehensive and interactive presentation; on his second presentation Arjun Guha Thakurta highlighted current legal requirements in pharmaceutical serialization systems.
